2022-06-30 04:120127
Dear Global Bitgetters,
We will support the Smaugs (SMG) token migration and renaming plan. The Smaugs (SMG) token will be rebranded to Janus Network (JNS). Further details about this change are shown on the timeline below:
- Deposits and withdrawals of Smaugs (BEP-20) will be suspended on June 30, 7 AM (UTC). Please ensure that you leave sufficient time for your SMG deposits to be fully processed prior to this time.
- On June 30, 10 AM (UTC), we will delist the SMG/USDT spot trading pair and cancel all pending spot trade orders.
- Bitget will recover all SMG balances and begin the distribution of JNS to all eligible users at a ratio of 8.5 SMG: 1 JNS.
- Deposits and withdrawals of JNS will be activated after the token swap is completed and deemed stable.
- We will announce the listing time for JNS/USDT spot trading pair in a separate announcement.
- The new JNS contract address is as follows:
- Avalanche C-Chain: 0x7A023A408F51c23760Eb31190fc731bc12B52954
Notes:
- Bitget will list JNS on July 7, 2022. The listing schedule will inform separately in another announcement.
- Please be assured that your assets are safe during the migration.
- Distribution of JNS will be completed before trading of JNS/USDT is opened.
- 2% tax will be deducted from each transaction in the new token (JNS) and the deductions will be collected in the burn wallet. All of these taxes will be burned on a regular basis.
