Apple reorganizes AI executive team in an effort to reverse Siri's decline
according to informed sources, Apple is undergoing a rare major change in its senior management in order to get its artificial intelligence work back on track after months of delay and setbacks. CEO Tim Cook has lost confidence in AI chief John Giannandrea's ability to execute product development, so he has brought in another executive to help: Vision Pro creator Mike Rockwell. Rockwell will be in charge of Siri virtual assistant and will report to software chief Craig Federighi. Apple is preparing to announce the staff changes this week.
