Litecoin Price Set to Skyrocket as ETF Hype Rises – 3x Gains Possible?
Litecoin remains stuck within multi-month lows. Buts its recent bounce from its 200DMA was a strong buy signal, and a surge could be coming as ETF hype rises.

Litecoin’s (LTC) price surged on Thursday amid rising speculation that a spot Litecoin ETF could launch in the US in 2025.
LTC recently traded at $126, marking a 55% increase after rebounding from its 200-day moving average (DMA) near $80 last week.

Despite recent consolidation, Litecoin’s recovery from December’s $150 peak suggests strong buyer interest.
Optimism around Litecoin’s ETF prospects has grown, with analysts assigning higher odds of approval.
Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart recently assigned Litecoin the highest probability of ETF approval in 2025.
Analysts have suggested Litecoin may see further gains if ETF approval moves forward later this year.
Litecoin (LTC) Price Surge Incoming?
Popular X user @CryptoKaleo noted in a tweet on Tuesday that Litecoin’s high time frame (HTF) setup suggests the potential for a move toward previous highs.
With increasing speculation over ETF approval, Litecoin has gained renewed investor interest.
After a prolonged period of consolidation, similar to Bitcoin in mid-2024, Litecoin could experience a substantial price movement.
As ETF discussions continue, Litecoin’s role as a decentralized payments cryptocurrency could gain more attention. If momentum continues, Litecoin could retest its previous highs above $400.
A successful Litecoin ETF launch with strong institutional demand could support higher prices.
However, Litecoin has faced competition from newer cryptocurrencies like Solana , Sui , Avalanche , and Stellar , which have seen stronger retail interest.
Should Investors Consider Litecoin?
The prospect of a strong performance in 2025 amid ETF hype means that investors might want to consider adding LTC to their portfolios, alongside bigger coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum or Solana.
As a result, Litecoin could well be the best crypto to buy now .
However, whether LTC is worth holding in the longer term might depend on the success of the ETF launch.
If it falls flat, that could be a sign of low interest in Litecoin, and a sign that investors might want to ditch it in favor of coins with a brighter future (like BTC).
