New Montana bill authorizes investments up to $50 million in Bitcoin
the US Montana House Bill No. 429 will authorize the state treasurer to invest up to $50 million from the general fund in "digital assets with a market capitalization of over $75 billion", namely Bitcoin, until July 15, 2025. These investments must be held by qualified custodians or traded through exchange-traded funds.
