Crypto data companies Textile and 3Box Labs announce merger
two companies in the field of encrypted data storage, Textile and 3Box Labs, have announced a full stock merger agreement. The merged company will retain the Textile brand and will be led by current CEO Andrew Hill. The two companies have previously received investments from institutions such as USV, CoinFund, and Multicoin, with a total financing of over 42 million US dollars.
Michael Sena, co-founder of 3Box Labs, stated that the two companies had overlapping products in the past and will jointly build blockchain data infrastructure in the future. The new company plans to create an "intelligent layer of multi-agent economy" to provide data storage, access, and verification services for AI agents. Hill emphasized that blockchain provides a natural platform for AI agent operations, enabling data interaction and alpha transactions between agents.
