US Crypto Czar David Sacks Speaks Out About The Latest “DeepSeek” Crisis
David Sacks, who was appointed as the official cryptocurrency chief of the United States, made a statement about DeepSeek, which took the market by storm.
David Sacks, who was appointed as the head of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency by the new President Donald Trump in the USA, spoke about the DeepSeek crisis originating from China.
As is known, a Chinese software company has launched a language model called DeepSeek and declared that it can keep its activities much lower than OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT.
However, DeepSeek is thought to have a large stock of GPUs that cannot normally be sold to China due to US sanctions.
With the sudden rise of DeepSeek, US technology companies' stock prices crashed today, pulling the cryptocurrency market down with it.
US cryptocurrency chief David Sacks said in a message he published on X that DeepSeek indicates that the artificial intelligence race will be very competitive, and that Trump was proven right by recently revoking the presidential order blocking US artificial intelligence companies.
Sacks said he trusted the US on artificial intelligence, but they should not be complacent.
