Deribit sees large BTC options transactions: buy $105,000 call options, sell $120,000 call options
Deribit's Asia-Pacific business leader, Lin, revealed that there was a large bitcoin options trade today. An investor bought 100 BTC worth of call options with a strike price of $105,000 expiring at the end of June, while simultaneously selling the same amount of call options with a strike price of $120,000 for the same period, paying a premium of $541,000. The breakeven point for this bullish spread option combination is $111,000.
