Grayscale's managing director of research, Zach Pandl, predicts that 2021 will see many smaller victories for the crypto industry, including more institutional adoption and comprehensive legislation from Congress. Pandl also believes that Bitcoin could become a US reserve asset and potentially reach $500,000 by 2030. He notes that pension and endowment funds are showing more interest in crypto and some may include it in their portfolios within the next 6 to 12 months. Additionally, Pandl sees potential for institutional adoption of Ethereum and other areas of the crypto industry such as decentralized finance and artificial intelligence tokens.
