Dubai investment firm Sigma Capital launches $100 million fund for Web3 startups
investment company Sigma Capital, headquartered in Dubai, has launched a $100 million Sigma Capital Fund I focused on early-stage enterprises in the Web3 and blockchain fields.
The fund will invest in decentralized finance (DeFi), blockchain infrastructure, tokenization of real-world assets, gaming, and metaverse. In terms of investment strategy, Sigma Capital plans to manage a portfolio of liquid tokens and use high-yield DeFi methods to increase returns.
Over the next three years, Sigma Capital plans to invest in 100 early-stage projects, 25 liquid tokens, and 10 funds of funds. The company also plans to collaborate with Web3 centers in 10 global cities to provide market insights and resources for its invested companies.
