Tether is suing financial services company Swan Bitcoin due to contractual disputes in their joint Bitcoin mining venture. A spokesperson for Tether wrote in an email, "Tether and its co-plaintiff, 2040 Energy Limited, have recently filed a lawsuit against Swan in the High Court of England and Wales." Tether stated, "In our cooperation with Swan, Tether has always upheld integrity, supported common business goals, and complied with all relevant agreements. In contrast, Swan's behavior was reckless, and their actions led to a serious violation of our agreement. Therefore, we have been forced to take necessary measures to protect our investment." Swan confirmed receipt of the lawsuit but declined to comment further. "Swan will vigorously defend all its rights," their spokesperson added.
