Presto Research: Predicts that Bitcoin will rise to $210,000 by 2025
The analytics department of algorithmic trading company Presto, Presto Research, has released its first annual report titled "From Chaos to Clarity", focusing on the development of cryptocurrency trends in 2024 and making some predictions for 2025.
The report depicts a tumultuous year for the cryptocurrency market, with Meme coins emerging as a surprise. Tokens such as OM and PEPE performed astonishingly well, gaining increases of 6,118% and 1,231% respectively. On the other hand, the report shows that venture capital-backed tokens did not meet standards, indicating a change in investor sentiment. A new atmosphere emerged in the industry where transparency and sustainability are cool overshadowing old-school speculative bubbles. RWA tokens also attracted attention led by OM. This success reflects community's love for projects with real-world appeal.
The report attributes end-of-year market rises to several major macro events such as the launch of spot Bitcoin ETFs and US presidential elections. Looking forward to 2025, it predicts prosperity across all areas of cryptocurrency. With large participants joining and its increasing importance as a reserve asset BTC price could reach $210000; ETH/BTC ratio is expected to rebound to 0.05; SOL is expected to reach $1000.
As far DeFi is concerned Presto also foresees DEX getting more attention possibly accounting for over 20% CEX trading volume by end-2025.
In addition this report predicts that driven by stablecoins becoming mainstream smart contract platforms becoming mainstream more large institutions joining total crypto market cap may climb up-to $75 trillion by year-end-2025.
