OpenAI adds SearchGPT option to Apple's "Shortcuts" app
According to cnBeta, OpenAI has added a "Open SearchGPT" option for the "Shortcuts" app on iPhone and iPad, allowing users to launch the ChatGPT app and invoke web search functions via shortcuts. Users need to update to the latest version of the ChatGPT application in order to enable SearchGPT operations in shortcuts.
The SearchGPT feature was first launched at the end of October this year, aiming to improve web search experience by providing more relevant links and contextual information while supporting users' follow-up questions.
Currently, users with ChatGPT Plus and ChatGPT Teams can access the SearchGPT function. OpenAI plans to open it up for free users within a few months.
