ai16z Joint Creation: "ai16zeliza" is a name deliberately used by its creator to deceive buyers using our name
PANews reported on November 19th that ai16z co-founder Shaw posted again about the Eliza project controversy, stating: "The token you purchased was actually named by its creator using our name to deceive you. It fooled our own partner developers into thinking it was a token from our partners. Many people came to discuss 'ai16zeliza' on our Discord without realizing it wasn't ours. I didn't call this token a scam out of kindness. I will respect your scam token's airdrop because I said I would do so, but many of you really don't deserve this."
Earlier news stated that ai16z co-founder claimed that Eliza had been preemptively released by another team and they would not abandon their original plan to launch the Eliza project.
