Polterfinance reports that there is a vulnerability in the Fantom chain, and more than $7 million in crypto assets have been stolen
According to Cyvers Alerts system monitoring, Polterfinance reported that there was a vulnerability in the Fantom chain, and over 7 million dollars worth of encrypted assets were stolen. The attacker initially obtained the funds through Tornado Cash on Ethereum, and later bridged the funds to Fantom.
The team took immediate action:
1. The platform was suspended to control the vulnerability.
2. The bridge was notified and the wallets involved were traced to Binance.
3. The vulnerability is currently being actively investigated.
