CosmWasm's annual hackathon AwesomWasm uses Dora Vota MACI for the first time to complete the review
According to official sources, on the evening of May 30th Beijing time, the annual CosmWasm hackathon AwesomWasm completed the MACI quadratic voting review on the Dora Vota governance infrastructure on the Dora Factory chain, with a total of 7 judges participating in the voting for 2 tracks. This MACI quadratic voting is the first application in the CosmWasm community activities and the first use of the MACI mechanism for governance in large-scale activities in the Cosmos ecosystem. The AwesomWasm hackathon is the annual CosmWasm hackathon hosted by the CosmWasm development team Confio. It is also the most important developer event in the CosmWasm ecosystem held by Confio and DoraHacks for two consecutive years. A total of 14 BUIDL teams were selected for the final review and voting of the hackathon, and core members of Track sponsors Kuijira, Neutron, and Abstract participated in the MACI quadratic voting and selected the final awards based on the MACI results. The ZK proofs generated by the voting results have been uploaded to the Dora Vota voting page, and the MACI voting results can be obtained directly through the relevant contract link. The specific results of the hackathon will be announced later on the DoraHacks platform.
