Metis: Connected to the cross-chain bridge Router Nitro
Metis has announced the launch of the Router Nitro mainnet version, a cross-chain asset bridge developed by Router Protocol. Users can now use Router to cross-chain any asset to Metis and experience faster, safer, and more cost-effective cross-chain transfers.Router Nitro executes transactions using an optimistic approach and achieves reverse validation through stateful bridging and contract integration on Router Chain. Its zero TVL is based on intent-based asset transfers and an open network participation mechanism, which allows it to save 50-70% of gas fees compared to competitors, and most transfers can be completed within 20 seconds. It is reported that this integration brings significant advantages to Metis users, including fast transfers of 5-20 seconds, lower user costs, and a one-click seamless on-chain experience. To accelerate TVL inflows, Router Protocol will also deploy new incentive mechanisms together with Metis' existing incentive programs.
