OpenLeverage offers 20% of stolen funds to attackers
The deployer of the DeFi lending protocol OpenLeverage Finance has sent a message on-chain to the attacker, offering a 20% reward for any stolen funds returned. If the hacker returns the remaining 80%, the 20% will belong to the victim. If the attacker chooses not to participate in voluntary return and completes the process before 4:00 pm on April 18, 2024, the reward will be expanded to the public and a full 20% reward will be offered to anyone who can identify the attacker in a way that leads to a conviction in court. Earlier reports suggest that OpenLeverage was hacked, resulting in a loss of approximately $236,000, and the protocol is currently suspended.
