Shiba Inu’s leading social media marketer, Lucie, has expressed her support for the project’s mysterious founder, Ryoshi, in the ongoing debate over SHIB burn. In a recent post on X, Lucie cited Ryoshi’s response to community members inquiring about the paused SHIB burn exercise.
In her post, Lucie quoted Ryoshi’s exact response to SHIB community members asking the project’s developers to do something about the suspended SHIB burn. She asked:
“What did you do for Shib’s growth? How much have YOU burned?”
According to the original plans, SHIB Burn is supposed to be responsible for the project’s development team. They carried out the exercise for the initial three months from last year’s November to January this year. However, since then, they have not burned more SHIB tokens.
Lucie suggested those unhappy with the SHIB ecosystem’s workings, to start burning the tokens and “develop better tools.” She affirmed her trust in the team’s activities and her pride in the Shibarium project. Lucie also clarified that the Shibarium project and users participate in the SHIB burning process.
In an earlier post , Lucie congratulated the Shiba Inu community on achieving a significant milestone. She shared details showing the network had recorded over 400 million transactions on Shibarium. Lucie shared more Shibarium achievements, such as the network clocking over 3.5 million blocks with an average block time of 5.0 seconds.
The social media marketer further showed that the over 400 million transactions recorded on Shibarium involved over 1.3 million wallet addresses, with a gas tracker of less than $0.01. She noted her respect for the Shibarium team and remained confident they would win in the long run.
