ENS Labs receives Manifold Finance settlement offer to resolve eth.link domain name dispute
ENS Labs, a developer of Ethereum Name Service, received a settlement offer from Manifold Finance in the legal dispute over the eth.link domain name. The offer requires ENS Labs to pay $300,000 and sign a "confidentiality and non-disparagement agreement". It is reported that this domain name dispute began in August 2022 and involves multiple parties, including domain name registrars and Manifold Finance. The settlement offer aims to resolve the dispute caused by the transfer and sale of the eth.link domain name from ENS Labs' control (its original owner), which has led to subsequent legal complexity.
