Standard Chartered Predicts $100B Inflows in Bitcoin ETF This Year, $200K Price Target
Standard Chartered Bank predicts that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will approve spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) this week, potentially leading to inflows ranging from $50 to $100 billion throughout the year. The bank compares the introduction of spot bitcoin ETFs to the transformative impact of gold ETFs and expects a similar revolution in investor access to the bitcoin market. Standard Chartered Bank also predicts that the price of bitcoin could surpass $200,000 by the end of 2025 if ETF-related inflows materialize as expected. The bank's analysts believe that ETF approval is a key driver of bitcoin price upside and expect approval to drive significant inflow and price upside for bitcoin.
